An Oak Park landmark built in 1898 as a firehouse, the new Oak Park River Forest Museum features changing exhibits on the area's history, including an exploration of Oak Park's welcoming legacy of racial diversity. The museum also includes a hands-on Children's Corner and a research center open to the public.
