Holi Celebration
Celebrate the Hindu festival Holi in Oak Park! Watch Indian dancers perform traditional dances, learn about Indian and Hindu culture and enjoy the explosion of color! Wear your white T-shirts and engage in one of Holi's most famous traditions: the throwing of colored powders!

Discover the talents and creativity of local artists and makers displaying their wares at River Forest Public Library. There will also be special demonstrations throughout the event.

Sensory Friendly Treats with the Bunny
The Park District of Oak Park and West Suburban Special Recreation Associate welcome families with sensory sensitivities to Cheney Mansion and a visit with the Bunny! Bring your camera for your photo with the Bunny and go on an egg hunt in the backyard. Representatives will have appropriate activities along with yummy sweets! All Ages welcome.

Veterans Park District and the Melrose Park Youth Commission welcome you to the Egg Scrambler egg and candy hunt at Bulger Park playground. Remember to bring a basket and a flash light as the hunt will take place in the evening.

Shop 'til you drop in La Grange at the Spring Shopping Stroll, where you can expect prime discounts, fun activities, special in-store events and door prizes!

Egg Hunt at North Park
The Easter Bunny invites you for an eggcellent time as you scramble for eggs at our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your Easter basket or bag to hold all the goodies you find around the park. The hunt is moved indoors if there is inclement weather.

Breakfast with the Bunny
Join the Easter Bunny for a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, take your picture with the Easter Bunny and receive a special treat! Space is limited – register early! All participants must register.

Doggie Egg Hunt
Leash up your pup and have fun at our event where your canine searches for dog-friendly treat-filled eggs. Dogs must be leashed at all times; retractable leashes will be allowed. Please note that treats will be placed inside plastic eggs. Supervision is a must. Limited spots are available. Registration deadline April 4..

Bring your dog to Maple Park for the Doggy Egg Scramble. Dogs and owners will hunt through the field to find the most dog treat filled eggs. After the hunt, a special visitor will be available to take photos.

Earth Day Des Plaines River Cleanup
Make a difference this Earth Day by participating in the annual Des Plaines River Cleanup! Volunteer your time to clean up the Des Plaines Riverbank and Thatcher Woods. Clean up bags, disposable gloves, and first aid supplies will be available. Please register.

Eat the Neighborhood: Ramp Foraging Walk and Lunch at Carnivore Oak Park
