Candle Making with Einnim

Join Einnim and the Park District of Oak Park to make a custom candle at Cheney Mansion! An Einnim candle specialist will be in attendance to walk guests through the entire candle-making process. Reservation fee $42-$55
Jedi Training
March 9
Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi may have trained Luke Skywalker, but you don’t need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to learn the ways of the Jedi Order. You only have to travel as far as Pleasant Home, where a special Jedi training is taking place on March 9

Egg Hunt
March 23
The Easter Bunny invites you for an egg-cellent time as you scramble for eggs at the Park District of Franklin Park's annual egg hunt. Bring your basket or bag to hold all the goodies you find around the park. Maybe you will be the lucky one to find a golden eye. The hunt is for kids ages one through seven and will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Bunny Hop

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Get your beads out and head over to Fitzgerald's Feb. 13 for live jazz played by the Lowdown Brass Band in celebration of Mardi Gras. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Get tickets here. Grab some dinner before at Babygold's next door.

Sensory Treats with the Bunny
March 23
The Park District of Oak Park and West Suburban Special Recreation Association welcome families with sensory sensitivities to Cheney Mansion and a visit with the Easter Bunny! Bring your camera for your photo with the Bunny and fun crafts provided by WSSRA. Representatives will have appropriate activities available while you wait along with yummy sweets! All ages are welcome.

DinoWorks
March 23-27
WonderWorks Children’s Museum is going prehistoric and it’s sure to be a roaring good timeA for dinosaurs and humans alike. DinoWorks is a takeover event that will see dinosaurs big and small fill the museum. The adventure starts at the door with a T. rex skeleton and continues with such exciting and educational activities as fossil exploration, dinosaur nest building and a dinosaur scavenger hunt. There will also be live puppet shows, dinosaur parades and plenty of dinosaur costumes.
