Our stay was great! River was friendly. Private entrance. The area was clean and tidy. Lots of good books to read. The bathroom was clean and nice towels were provided. The shower stall was neat. The Toilet was a hoot! Very interesting. The space wasn't large, but bigger than a pricey hotel room. There was a closet with extra blankets, but heat wasn't a huge issue. The space heater took care of most of the chill and the flannel sheets provided helped with the rest. Next time, I will bring my own blanket, though. No TV- which was preferred. Great spot, close enough to Chicago to travel there, but felt safe the entire time. Very quiet. We never had to see other guests or the host during our stay. River messaged me about the screen door handle once they noticed it was loose and fixed it ASAP. Definitely would stay again. GREAT HOST!
Smaller side, but much better than a hotel, there are people upstairs but we didn’t hear them at all! Huge book collection!
