This is a beautiful, modernist home located in the Frank Lloyd Wright district neighborhood, a designated historic district known for its collection of homes designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This district features a collection of some of his iconic designs and is a destination for architecture enthusiasts.

Jay met us when we arrived and walked us through the house, explaining everything we needed to know. Jay is a great guy and friendly. The house had amazing art and great entertainment amenities... and a wonderful coffeemaker that actually was a combination of a Keurig and a regular coffeemaker! Lovely neighborhood and easy to get to downtown Oak Park and the Lake Street El. Would stay again!

Jay’s place was perfect for a couple or small family looking to stay outside of the city and commute in! It’s right across from a park, residential neighborhood, walkable and only about 1 mile from the nearest metro station. We arrived very late for check in due to work but Jay was super flexible and had no problem with it. We asked for local recommendations along the way and he was quick to provide them. He also answered our many questions about how to use the metro system. His place felt like home! Beds were comfy, perfect setup in the dining room with small frig, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Lots of coffees, water, and snacks too. And there is a full kitchen if you’d like to cook! It was clean and warm. The couch is very comfy too! We can’t wait to come back and stay! We didn’t get to stay for the Sunday brunch, but from the looks of the complimentary menu, it’s sounds delicious. Definitely staying for that next time!
