Berkeley
Berkeley is 14 miles west of Chicago and a great railroad town. With the Union Pacific Railroad and the Proviso Railyard to the north and Interstates 290 and 294 forming its southern and western borders, it is a charming small town insulated from its neighbors. Much of the 1.4 square mile village is made up of attractive, single family homes.
The picturesque Illinois Prairie Path goes through Berkeley so bring your hiking boots or bike!
Berkeley is also the home to World Dryer. If you have used a public washroom you’ve seen their products. They are one of the world’s largest manufactures of hand dryers since 1950.
