Forest Park hosts its 13th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. all along Madison Street in downtown Forest Park. One of the largest of its kind in the suburbs, Forest Park's parade features several bagpipe bands, area police and fire vehicles, antique cars, numerous Medinah Shriner events, floats, Armed Forces, Proviso East Marching Band, the World Famous Lawn Rangers and more. Attendance is free. Come for the parade...then Eat, Drink, Shop and Play in Forest Park. For more information call the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce & Development office at 708-366-2543.
Parade route: Parade kicks off at Van Buren and Madison...travels east on Madison to Elgin.
