Oak Park Conservatory

Named as one of the top 10 best neighborhoods in the nation, Oak Park has what a lot of couples want for a wedding destination and can't find: character and originality. Even better, the Oak Park area is located just minutes outside Chicago—an upscale suburban destination known for its blend of architectural marvels from the Prairie School era. Because of its location near Chicago, it's also an ideal destination to welcome out-of-town guests with easy and abundant flight options (the Oak Park area is located within convenient distance of both of Chicago's major airports).

This is a place with tree-lined streets and centuries-old homes, so it's no wonder why the Oak Park area is considered one of the best wedding destinations in the Chicago. It's a perfect spot for traditional weddings as well as same-sex weddings due to its strong local support for the LGBT community. Here, you can host a wedding in a swanky mansion, get married in a garden at a conservatory, or host a large number of guests in a grand ballroom. Here's a quick look at some of the best wedding venues in the Oak Park area near Chicago.
